Methyl trimethoxysilane as raw material, prepared by a two-step hydrolysis and condensation of spherical silicone resin.
1. In the hydrolysis of methyltrimethoxysilane, PH value is between 3.0 to 6.0, the hydrolysis reaction mixture as a clear transparent, free floating oil stratification. Description of methyltrimethoxysilane were effective hydrolysis reaction, to give methyl silanol.
2. In the silanol condensation reaction process, the control range of PH value is between 8.0 and 10.0, in order to obtain the desired product. With PH value increases, the particle size of the product obtained decreases by about 3 m down to 7μm, and the particle size distribution tends to narrow.
3. Ratio of the amount of methyltrimethoxysilane was added and the water quality is greater than 1:20, the desired product can’t be obtained. With the decrease of oil-water ratio of the reaction product particle diameter tends to decrease.
4. The reaction was allowed to stand under polycondensation conditions, spherical silicone resin product, and the sub-ah under stirring, the resulting product was very irregular, adhesion and aggregation serious.
